If you’re looking for a north London stay, Norma and John’s Muswell Hill home makes the perfect base. Their quiet road is located close to Alexandra Palace, so is ideal for visitors to the exhibition centre, and local shops, restaurants and cinema are just three minutes’ walk away. A comfortable, serene double room and an additional, spacious single room share an inviting private shower bathroom. A pull-out bed may be added in the single room to create twin sleeping accommodation. Two great London parks, Alexandra Park and Queen’s Woods, are nearby, as are Highgate Woods, and the shops, restaurants of Highgate are a walk or taxi ride away. This is also a convenient location for Stansted, around 40 minutes away. Norma and John, both designers, are relaxed and welcoming hosts who will look after you well.

In one of north London's smartest neighbourhoods, Deepa's tall, terraced
house overlooks a leafy London green. Her four rooms, three doubles and an attic single, are pretty and comfortable, with pleasant views of the garden and green. Breakfast is not included, but there is an excellent choice of local cafes and restaurants. Deepa has a kitchen with a microwave, which guests are welcome to use. Hampstead Heath is close by, Camden is five minutes away by tube, 10-15 minutes away on foot, and local shops include famed bookseller Daunts. There's even a little local cinema, the Everyman. A great budget stay.

The guest suite comprises a double and a single room with one private bathroom. The bed in the double room is sunk into a low platform. Breakfast is served in the open-plan dining area, overlooking a courtyard garden.

The host has created a comfortable retreat that will make for a memorable stay. Three stunning rooms, two of these very generously sized, offer double or twin accommodation and share two private bathrooms. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room, and there is complimentary tea and coffee and a drinks chiller. The host is creating a beautiful garden which guests will be able to enjoy.
